About the physician...

Caroline is a Licensed Acupuncturist and a Board Certified Herbalist. 

She received her acupuncture degree from Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She completed her Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelors Degree in Health Sciences.

Caroline is a member of Florida State Oriental Medical Association, as well as, the American Acupuncture Council. 

Her specialties are in Pain Management and Gastro-Intestinal Disorders, Stress and Anxiety.

In addition to her acupuncture degree, she also carries a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education. 

My story...
Instead of one experience leading me to acupuncture, it was a variety of situations. My collegiate diving coach was probably one of the most influential persons in this area of my life.  Just as I was being diagnosed with Lyme disease, Dr. Allan Spreen was signing up to be our new collegiate head diving coach.  Dr. Spreen isn’t an ordinary medical doctor. Dr. Spreen is expert in nutrition and an author in this area. He takes an “alternative approach”.  So, while I was walking around with an IV in my arm for 3 months taking antibiotics, Dr. Spreen educated me about Yeast (Candida), different dietary approaches, vitamin therapies, and much more.  This is where I realized that Western medicine had some limitations of its own.

I started reading more and more into alternative therapies.  One day during diving practice, I hyper-extended my knee.  So, I figured this would be a good opportunity to see what acupuncture could do.  I loved it.  I instantly fell in love with this therapy.  It was the link that was missing.  My knee pain was successfully treated, and the stomach aches were more than 90% improved. I could focus better and was less stressed. During this recuperation, I studied and adjusted my diet, added supplements and complementary herbs. And here I am now a healthier person doing what I love and bringing the missing link to more and more people.  I am so grateful for the opportunity!
