HERBAL MEDICINE

What is Herbal Medicine?
Herbal Medicine is a form of medication.  Although safe, herbs should be prescribed by your licensed acupuncturist or certified herbalist.

Herbal formulas can be prescribed for acute illnesses, such as the common cold, or for more chronic illnesses, like diabetes.

They can also be used alongside western medication, as in the case for treating side effects of chemotherapy.

Herbs come in many different forms.  Such as, pills or tablets, powder, soups, and even topical ointments.
